Description

A corrosion inhibitor for steel and copper in aqueous solutions. It is particularly suitable for the prevention of standstill corrosions.
The product consists of a synergistically acting blend of special carboxylic acid derivatives and copper inhibitors.

    Dosing, Addition

    The optimum dosing rate should be determined with our Department for Application Technique. The following values are guide rates.

        • In general a circulation system can be protected against corrosion by adding 0.5 % 
          KEBOCOR 206 CU.
        • In case of standstill corrosions of freshly pickled surfaces 1 % KEBOCOR 206 CU should be added.
        • Highly salty waters require a concentration of 1.5 - 2.0 % KEBOCOR 206 CU.

        Storage

        In closed original packages KEBOCOR 206 CU is storable for at least two years.
        KEBOCOR 206 CU may become darker in the course of time, however, without losing its efficiency.
