LITHSOLVENT cleaners: our acid cleaning professionals
Kebo's experience over many decades with a wide variety of issues related to the removal of troublesome deposits has resulted in a very broad range of cleaners and inhibitors.
Our LITHSOLVENT cleaners are our answer to all acid cleaning challenges. These are ready-to-use mixtures of acid and inhibitor, ideally suited for a temperature range from room temperature to 80 °C. This is the ideal product if you do not have the capability to prepare your own cleaning solutions.
Generally, our LITHSOLVENT cleaners are inhibited methanesulfonic, formic, hydrochloric, amidosulfonic, citric and phosphoric acids formulated for different cleaning temperatures and materials.
With our highly concentrated cleaners, you get a highly productive and thus economically attractive solution with less production effort and increased occupational safety for your employees.
For this purpose, we supply the already optimally adjusted combination products of acid and corrosion inhibitor, so that you can merely dilute the concentrated cleaner and then begin the chemical sanitation of your respective systems.
Where is which acid used?
Which acid is used again depends on the material of the plant and the deposit that results from the processed raw material.
You are welcome to send us a sample of your deposit or scaling, or we can visit you on site. The quality of the tested deposit sample significantly determines the meaningfulness of the analysis. Therefore, our experts are happy to receive fresh, dry deposits without chemical pretreatment in a quantity of at least 40 g.
In turn, to protect your material from the use of acids, we offer both:
- Inhibited cleaners or
- Corrosion inhibitors.
Corrosion inhibitors are understood to be special chemical inhibitors that affect a chemical reaction so that it is slowed, inhibited or prevented altogether. In the case of acid cleaners, this prevents the acid from attacking the material to be cleaned.
Effective protection and optimum cleaning performance
The inhibitors form a monomolecular protective film on the metal surface without hindering the dissolution of the deposit by the acids. The result: optimum cleaning performance with simultaneous protection of the substrate.
The products shown on our website are only a selection of our entire product range. There is no universal remedy for the rapid removal of impurities. Some can be removed well with alkaline agents, others better in the acidic range. The large variety of conceivable cleaning problems and the large number of additives, inhibitors and ready-to-use cleaning solutions offered by us make it advisable to obtain detailed advice before starting cleaning.
The same applies to inhibitors, defoamers, scale preventers, corrosion inhibitors, pickling inhibitors, etc. Depending on the plant, material, product and the type of boiler/cooling water is used, different individual challenges arise. We are well equipped for them.
