Description

used in open cooling systems with high concentrations of calcium carbonate and bicarbonate to prevent scale formation and to protect the steel materials against corrosion. It is not necessary to check the pH-value of the circulation water.

    Benefits

    • The scale control additives contained in KEBOCOR 226 are low molecular anionic polyelectrolytes and organophosphates. At substoichiometric dosage they are capable of keeping in dissolution especially the alkaline earth ions in presence of high carbonate hardnesses (THRESHOLD effect).
    • Good dispersive effects on organic and inorganic suspended solids are achieved by means of polyacrylates of medium molecular weight.
    • A special phosphorus organic component ensures the protection of steel against corrosion. It forms a thin but tight protective film of calcium and iron compounds on the metal surface.
    • Is resistant to hydrolysis as well as to wall temperatures up to 200°C and is compatible with free chlorine (Cl2).

    Dosing, Addition

The dosing rate ist dependent of various parameters. A rate of 50 ppm KEBOCOR 226 in the circulation water can be taken as guide value.
The quantity necessary for each individual case should be determined in cooperation with our Department for Application Technique.

The products shown on our website are only a selection of our entire product range. There is no universal remedy for the rapid removal of impurities. Some can be removed well with alkaline agents, others better in the acidic range. The large variety of conceivable cleaning problems and the large number of additives, inhibitors and ready-to-use cleaning solutions offered by us make it advisable to obtain detailed advice before starting cleaning.
The same applies to inhibitors, defoamers, scale preventers, corrosion inhibitors, pickling inhibitors, etc. Depending on the plant, material, product and the type of boiler/cooling water is used, different individual challenges arise. We are well equipped for them.

Talk to us, we will be happy to help!
On request, we can analyze deposits in our laboratory and develop a cleaning strategy based on our many years of experience, taking into account the conditions on site.
